Some patients and visitors require special services. Memorial Hospital Miramar has instituted a variety of programs to accommodate individual needs.
Language Services
Memorial Healthcare System serves a vibrant multicultural community in South Florida and works to provide patients with medical care in their own language. Each Memorial Healthcare System hospital, including Memorial Hospital Miramar, has a Customer Relations Director on staff to facilitate a patient’s linguistic needs.
In addition, every Memorial facility has signs in English and Spanish, and provides many educational materials and brochures in Spanish. Memorial Hospital Miramar maintains a list of employees who speak a wide range of foreign languages other than Spanish. Please ask your nurse or caregiver about arranging translation services.

Special Needs
Our Patients with Special Needs office can help if you require accommodations such as low-vision and hearing-impaired telephone devices (such as TTY devices). We also make a sign language interpreter available to patients and their families.
