Visiting Memorial Hospital Miramar
Memorial Hospital Miramar not only provides quality health care services to its patients but also encourages visits from family and loved ones, as they can help speed recovery.
Visiting Hours
Visiting hours are flexible to meet the needs of family and friends. Please note the following policies when coming to visit a loved one who is receiving health care services at our facility:
- Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- If a patient wishes for a family member to stay overnight, he or she must contact the patient's nurse to make arrangements.
- Any person with a cold, sore throat or other transmittable illness is asked not to visit patients.
All areas observe unrestricted 24-hour visitation except for the following units:
- Adult Intensive Care Unit — 24-hour visitation is allowed. Two visitors are permitted at the bedside at a time.
- The Family Birthplace — 24-hour visitation is allowed. Visitors must present a photo ID, and minor siblings must be accompanied by an adult.
Security-sensitive areas, such as the Family Birthplace, may use wristbands for identifying the parents, guardians or other primary caregivers of pediatric patients.
Visiting Suggestions
We ask that visitors be sensitive to our patients' conditions and their need for rest. Please contact the patient or patient's family before visiting.
