Outpatient Rehabilitation Services
Memorial Hospital Miramar Outpatient Rehabilitation Center is dedicated to helping patients regain the maximum level of self-sufficiency and return to their active lives as quickly as possible. The outpatient rehabilitation service team consists of a variety of specially trained professionals including:

Physical Therapy Rehabilitation Services
Physical therapy programs are customized for treatment of any disability or injury with the goals of maximizing strength and flexibility restoring physical abilities and helping our patients to lead enriched, productive lifestyles.
Occupational Therapy Services
The goal of occupational therapy is to help patients return to the highest functional level after illness or injury. Therapy may include pain management, fitting of positioning devices, exercises, and training in activities of daily living. Patients will be educated in self-care and the use of adaptive techniques and devices, as needed, to help restore independence.
Speech Therapy Services
Speech therapy involves the treatment of communication disorders. Treatment is available for disorders affecting feeding and swallowing, voice, and written and verbal communication.
Hand Therapy Services
Our certified hand specialists are available to rehabilitate hand injuries with use of thermal therapy, exercise and splinting.
Imaging Services
Memorial Hospital Miramar Diagnostic Imaging Department provides a wide array of services to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating injuries and illness. Memorial Hospital Miramar utilizes some of the most sophisticated diagnostic technology, including angiography, computerized tomography (CT) scans, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), echocardiography, mammography, nuclear medicine, ultrasound and X-rays.

Memorial Hospital Miramar Outpatient Services Department offers many high-tech diagnostic tests, including bronchoscopies, colonoscopies and endoscopies, on an outpatient basis. Sophisticated scans, laser procedures, pulmonary function tests and biopsies also can be performed in our comfortable ambulatory setting.
Digital Mammography Services
At Memorial Hospital Miramar, our expert team of specialists uses some of the most advanced breast imaging technology — including digital mammography and computer-aided detection (CAD) — to pinpoint possible areas of concern. If an abnormality is found, we offer therapy options and compassionate support to address the physical and emotional aspects of breast disease.
